Cedar County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, authorize a release, post bond, or pull an official booking record. For an official answer, contact the government office that created or holds the record directly.
Official Custody and Record Paths
The sheriff's official contact block identifies James “Jimbob” McCrary as sheriff and provides the county's primary booking-record contact. Cedar County has not published a dedicated records-unit name, email address, or office hours. Confirm the current custodian and hours before visiting.

Choose the official source that matches the person's custody state and the record needed. A current jail result, a released person's booking record, and a court disposition are separate matters.
- For current county custody, start with the Cedar County Sheriff page and its linked JailTracker roster. The roster is not a complete archive and the county has not published a fixed refresh interval.
- For a person no longer listed in county custody, request the date-bounded arrest or booking record from the sheriff under Missouri Chapter 610. Provide the name, approximate date, arresting agency, and requested record. The statute calls for action or written notice within three business days, while production can take longer for reasonable cause.
- For a case filing, hearing, or disposition, search Missouri Case.net. A court docket is not the same as a current-custody roster.
- For active Missouri state custody, probation, or parole, use the MODOC Offender Search. It is not the county's just-booked roster and does not provide discharged-offender information.
- For federal prison custody, use the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. For an immigration matter, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator when its requirements apply.
- If a city department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, or another county made the arrest, that originating agency may hold its own report or photograph even when Cedar County was the booking destination.
